We will meet on Saturday, November 18, at 2pm at the Toco Hills Library, to discuss Jane's Fame: How Jane Austen Conquered the World by Claire Harman


December Tea

This year our annual tea will fall on Jane Austen's birthday, Saturday, December 16 at 2pm in the Serenbe Institute Community Center.  At the tea, we will hear from Dr. Emily Friedman, Associate Professor of English at Auburn University and Chawton House Library Research Fellow, who will present a lecture on The Death and Afterlife of Austen and Staël: Sanditon and Corinne from Those Who Loved Them.

The cost to attend is $20 for JASNA Members, $25 for non-members, or $50 for the program and a membership to JASNA. Please RSVP by December 11 and let us know if you want to carpool to Serenbe.
